Basel Exhibition Center Basel Convention and Exhibition Center: In order to successfully complete BASELWORLD 2013
“Basel Exhibition Center” project has been satisfactory ending the optimization. By the architect Herzog & de Meuron completed BASELWORLD2013 new exhibition hall will be open on time, this project is funded by a total investment of around 400 million Swiss francs 30 million.

Capital budget for the entire project – a new exhibition hall, plus ancillary works, including the preparatory work, relocation, temporary measures and management, etc. – but now kept at 400 million Swiss francs in 30 million.
The new exhibition hall floor is about 220 * 90 meters, 32 meters high. Equipped with new sets of equipment, exhibition in Basel, the total area of approximately 141000 square meters, and thus be able to meet the world’s watch and jewelery show operational needs. Construction of the basic concept of the new hall and technical accessories (carrying capacity, auxiliary pillar structure, as well as media campaigns, etc.) are based on the design of the existing hall No. 1.
